Genesis

This new Kendriya Vidyalaya came into its glorious existence on 01.04.2013 with the approval of the Chairman, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Under this, a new Kendriya Vidyalaya was opened under the Higher Education Institutions Sector in the campus of Central University of Hyderabad situated at Professor C.R. Rao Road, Hyderabad.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to provide a common programme of education to the children of transferable Central Government employees, including defense and paramilitary forces. But the existing students of the University run school with only class IX an class X are granted admissions as per admission guidelines prescribed by KVS under IHL section.
The salient features of the infrastructure include well equipped labs, well ventilated class rooms, full-fledged well furnished Computer Labs, English Language lab and a playground. Needless to say, Kendriya Vidyalaya run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan provide quality education to students bringing out the best in them and our Vidyalaya too will prove its mettle in years to come.
